Julian Assange says a 'Pence takeover' is coming. Pence says that's 'absurd.'


Julian Assange, the founder of WikiLeaks, insists the U.S. government is in for a huge shakeup.

Specifically, he tweeted Tuesday that sources told him they are planning a "Pence takeover." 

His sources, according to his Twitter feed: Two intelligence officials close to Vice President Pence -- and Hillary Clinton, whom he claims supports the "takeover."

Here are Assange's tweets on the subject.

Pence said in a Tuesday interview he found the allegations "absurd" and "frankly offensive." 

Assange did not cite any evidence besides his anonymous sources nor offer any proof that he spoke to Clinton.
