Miami is adding a colossal entertainment venue to its long list of attractions in 2020. Construction is already underway for the 1,000-foot high-rise dubbed " SkyRise Miami." The developers are now requesting approval for the building's main attraction - rotating pods overlooking the city.

They're calling the attraction SkyWay and envision it be similar to the London eye.

The 20 rotating cabins, or pods, will be in motion along the north face of the tower that's set to rise at Bayside Marketplace in downtown Miami. The Berkowitz Development group hopes to finish the project by 2020 and is counting on SkyWay to be the building's most popular feature.

The 40-mile views alone are worth the trip. You can catch these views from either one of the three observation decks.

The entertainment tower will feature a night club, fine dining, a 570 ft. thrill ride plunge, the world's longest and fasted free-fall drop (650 ft.) and a 4D flying theatre that features "the smells of South Florida".
