Nike created new sneakers for Elton John, plus more celebs with signature shoe deals

Sir Elton John has been honored with his own namesake sneakers.

Nike designers created the shiny silver Air Force 1 Jet shoes to mark the "Rocket Man" hitmaker's long-standing relationship with the sportswear giant.

Here's a sneak peek at what the Rocket Man's new kicks look like.

Built and produced at Nike’s headquarters in Oregon, the sneakers were presented to John last weekend.

Nike first worked with the singer in the mid-1970s, creating a series of one-of-a-kind stage shoes for the rock star.

But John isn't the first celebrity to have a signature shoe line.
