"Jackie" leading lady Natalie Portman just pulled a Beyoncé.
The 35-year-old announced on Saturday that she wouldn't be attending any more award ceremonies this season (namely, the Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday night and the Oscars ceremony on Sunday) because she's in the final weeks of her pregnancy, Vogue reported.
“I feel so lucky to be honored among my fellow nominees and wish them the most beautiful of weekends,” Portman said in a statement.
Portman got a nominee nod for "Actress in a Leading Role." "Jackie," a film focused on Jackie Kennedy following the assassination of former President John F. Kennedy, received two other nominations including "Costume Design" and "Music (Original Score."
Portman is expecting her second child with husband Benjamin Millepied, a French choreographer.
The leading actress has a track record of being pregnant during Oscar season. She won the Oscar for Best Actress five years ago for her role in "Black Swan" when she was expecting her son, Aleph.
