Watch| Protestors taking to the streets for "Not My President's Day."
Today marks Presidents' Day in the U.S. But for thousands of protesters, today is also "Not My President's Day."
Thousands of people are expected to take to the streets in rallies and protests against President Trump. Some will call for his impeachment.
As of Monday morning, roughly 14,000 people said on Facebook they would attend a New York rally scheduled for noon.
Donald Trump is literally our President, but figuratively, he has attacked every value New Yorkers embody and does not represent our interests.
Protests are also planned from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. outside Los Angeles City Hall, and Chicago will host a rally across the Chicago River from the Trump Tower, USA Today reports. Organizers in Atlanta are also planning an "imPEACH Now" march, and a Washington, D.C. rally promises about 900 attendees.
D.C. protesters lucked out with mild weather.
Protesters will tweet with the #notmypresident and #doyourjob hashtags at noon Eastern.
It's Presidents Day- time to roll out of bed, pour a cup of coffee, and throw on your best "Not My President" shirt.— mug reheater (@findmydolls) February 20, 2017
The timing of the protest was not coincidental.
I'm not celebrating Presidents' Day cause that's not my president— Ana 👾 (@_analiciousss) February 19, 2017
Earlier this weekend, New York protesters held a mock funeral for the presidency.
