February 20th not only marked President's Day, but also this would be Kurt Cobain's (the lead singer of Nirvana) 50th birthday if he was still alive. You can find his home in Seattle, Washington in the picturesque Leschi neighborhood.
Fans and visitors came to pay their respects to the legend on what would be his 50th birthday, where they left flowers, anecdotes, candles and even a pack of Virginia Slims.
While new owners have purchased Cobain's house and don't mind frequent visitors, fans have made two benches next to the house a place where fans can write their love and adoration for the late singer.
We visited Cobain's make-shift memorial from his former home.
