Editor's note: This article was first published Feb. 15, 2017. We're bringing it back today in observation of Bake Cookies Day (yes, even though we're talking dough here).
LOS ANGELES (CIRCA) — The ridiculous buttery, sugary goodness that is Edoughble cookie dough means you can eat the stuff raw to your heart's content, guilt-free (sort of).
Warning: Don't watch the video above on an empty stomach.
Rana Lustyan started the Los Angeles-based company some years ago, after a major brand of cookie dough was hit with salmonella, causing mass recalls from store shelves. Lustyan's cookie dough (unlike others) does not use eggs and only uses organic flour.
Edoughble has several flavors but (surprise, surprise) chocolate chip is the most popular. But come on, have you SEEN this pile of doughy goodness?!
Birthday Bash (think sugar cookie with sprinkles) is a close second.
Luckily for us mere mortals who cannot resist the siren call of sugar, Edoughble will ship anywhere in the country.
But we warn you now — you will not be able to put the cup down. You just simply won't.
Gah! Enough already!
- We know it's nearly impossible to resist, but the CDC is reminding you not to eat raw cookie dough
- This cookie-dough egg roll is pure molten deliciousness
- Would you try a Cheetos cookie?
