WATCH | Spanish-American painter Domingo Zapata, who boasts a clientele that includes celebrities like Leonardo DiCaprio and Johnny Depp, held his debut show at New York Fashion Week on Monday.
The artist is well-known for his contemporary paintings that often draw inspiration from pop culture and current events. He transferred the same idea on to models, who were basically his living canvases.
The show, officially named "Love x Fashion x Art", brought his paintings to life at The Box, a burlesque nightclub in Manhattan.
The painter is also well-known for his close friendship with actress Lindsay Lohan. In fact, her little brother Dakota modeled on Zapata's runway.
