President Trump, continuing his frustration with legal roadblocks to his travel ban, tweeted Wednesday afternoon that he was waiting for an "easy D."
It's not clear what he meant by "easy D" (Decision? Defense? Deal?). But the Internet, being the Internet, quickly jumped to its own conclusions.
Big increase in traffic into our country from certain areas, while our people are far more vulnerable, as we wait for what should be EASY D!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) February 8, 2017
Here's the original tweet.

NYT: On Twitter, An Easy D
Vox: No, D Is Not Easy.
And then came the jokes.
Some thought it sounded like a rap handle.
Some found it ironic due to Trump's past comments regarding women.
Maybe Trump should have checked Urban Dictionary.
Others dropped alternative facts about certain rappers.
Please, please someone ask Sean Spicer what Trump meant by "easy D," just for the inevitable SNL parody.— Paige Lavender (@paigelav) February 8, 2017
Who will write the hot take about how the Easy D tweet was brilliantly masterminded as a distraction to the previous distraction?— Sahil Kapur (@sahilkapur) February 8, 2017
Some saw an ulterior motive in the tweet.
Rep. Jim Himes (R-CT) seemed to like the nickname.
