After seeing Melissa McCarthy as Sean Spicer, Rosie O'Donnell wants to play Steve Bannon

Melissa McCarthy's performance as White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer on "Saturday Night Live" was an instant classic

Now Rosie O'Donnell wants in. The comedian and longtime critic of President Trump said she's "available" to play Steve Bannon, the former head of Breitbart News and one of Trump's closest advisors.

The last episode of SNL featured Bannon as the Grim Reaper.

O'Donnell said she was ready to "serve" if called.

SNL has portrayed Bannon as the president, with Trump acting as a figurehead.

O'Donnell called McCarthy a "comedy god" after her performance as Spicer.

Trump has a long-running Twitter feud with O'Donnell, at one point calling her a "pig."

Would Rosie O'Donnell make a funny Steve Bannon?
