Lady Gaga stuck to the classics during the Super Bowl halftime show

Lady Gaga jumped from the roof during this year's Super Bowl halftime show, making sure that all eyes were on her from the very start. The roof jump, combined with her version of "This Land is Your Land," made for a powerful start to a show that stuck firmly to the classics.

Gaga sang just one song from her newest album "Joanne," the impactful "Million Reasons" ballad. She performed a medley of the hits that made her a legend, from "Telephone" (where some hoped Beyoncé would make a surprise appearance) to "Born This Way."

Tons of fans experienced nostalgia with her medley of classics.

The pop icon has so many hits that she couldn't possibly get to all of them.

Some people understood why she stuck to the classics...

...but others were hoping for more songs from "Joanne."

Rather than getting too deep into politics, Gaga let her lyrics speak for her.

And she truly united the country with her performance.

Some viewers just couldn't get over the lack of Beyoncé during "Telephone."

But others, like Joe Jonas, said that Gaga didn't need anyone to share the stage with her.

Here's a full video in case you somehow missed the performance.
