WATCH | Mariah Carey's new music video, "I Don't"
Pop icon Mariah Carey has sent a message loud and clear to her former finance James Packer.
The mother of two reportedly burned the custom $250,000 Valentino wedding dress she had purchased to marry the Australian billionaire in a recently released music video for her song "I Don't," WJLA reported.
The couple got engaged in January 2016, but split in September following a fight while vacationing in Greece.
In the video, Carey is seen wearing bridal lingerie in the back of a car with rap collaborator, YG. Next, she is shown hurling an ivory gown into a fire pit.
Sources claimed that the bridal gown used wasn't just a prop, but the actual dress she had planned to wear at her wedding.
Carey hasn't formally confirmed if "I Don't" is about her relationship with Packer.
But, on the track, she sings the lyrics,"Cause when you love someone you just don't treat them bad/You messed up all we have/Probably think that I'm coming back, but I don't."
