'Sopranos' star Frank Pellegrino died at 72 after a battle with cancer


Frank Pellegrino, known for his role on "The Sopranos," died Tuesday after a battle with cancer, the New York Daily News reported.

Pellegrino, 72, also appeared in "Goodfellas" and "Law & Order." He was also the owner of Rao's, a New York restaurant frequented by celebrities. 

He died at Memorial Sloan Kettering hospital, a family friend said.
