Senate Democrats delayed a vote on Sen. Jeff Sessions' nomination for attorney general, The Hill reports.
The vote will take place at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday instead.
UPDATE 12:53 p.m.:
Elaine Chao, President Trump's pick to run the Department of Transportation, was approved by the Senate. Chao, the wife of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), was previously Secretary of Labor under former President George W. Bush.
UPDATE 12:40 p.m.:
Despite allegations of plagiarism, the Senate HELP Committee voted in favor of Betsy DeVos, Trump's nominee for Secretary of Education. She will face the full Senate next.
Rick Perry, nominated for Energy Secretary, and Rep. Ryan Zinke, nominated for Interior Secretary, both passed their committees easily, with votes of 16-7 and 16-6, respectively.
UPDATE 10:35 a.m.:
Senate Democrats have announced they will boycott President Trump's nominees for Health and Human Services Secretary and Treasury Secretary (Rep. Tom Price and Steven Mnuchin, respectively).
One Democratic vote is required for the votes to go forward, CNBC reports.

Sen. Bob Casey (D-PA) explained his decision to join the boycott in a series of tweets.
Congress has a busy day ahead. Committee votes and debates Tuesday morning may determine if any of President Trump's proposed Cabinet nominees are are blocked from approval.
Many of the nominees have been tied to controversy.

Jeff Sessions, Trump's pick for Attorney General, will face the Senate Judiciary Committee at 9:30 a.m. This comes after acting AG Sally Yates was fired for refusing to back Trump's travel ban. This may get testy.
Tom Price, nominated to run the Department of Health and Human Services, has been dogged by accusations that as a Congressman, he passed laws that boosted his stock portfolio. He faces the Finance Committee at 10 a.m.
Betsy DeVos, Trump's pick for the Secretary of Education, faces the Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions.
