Minority leader Nancy Pelosi described Trump's SCOTUS pick as a 'very bad decision'

Moments after President Donald Trump announced Judge Neil Gorsuch as his Supreme Court nominee, minority leader Nancy Pelosi, D-CA, spoke out against the federal judge, describing his views on women's rights as "hostile."

"This is a very bad decision, well outside the mainstream of American legal thought," she said in her remarks during a primetime CNN Town Hall on Tuesday.

When answering a question from a Yemeni refugee, Pelosi didn't hesitate to lash out at Trump and his immigration ban.

"Your family is suffering because our president is reckless, and his administration is incompetent," she said candidly.

Pelosi's remarks come just a day after the president took to Twitter to mock the minority leader for a failed mic incident.
