Minnesota Gov. Mark Dayton revealed Tuesday that he was diagnosed with prostate cancer, according to the Star Tribune.
This comes just one day after he collapsed while delivering his 2017 State of the State Address.

Minnesota Gov. Mark Dayton collapsed Monday night while delivering his 2017 State of the State Address, according to CBS affiliate WCCO.
During the annual speech in front of the Minnesota Legislature, Dayton paused to drink some water and fainted as he stepped away from the podium.
EMTs quickly attended to the governor and the legislature adjourned after his collapse, WCCO reports.

Dayton's son tweeted shortly after the incident, saying his father is "doing great."
Business Insider reports that Dayton was hospitalized after fainting at a campaign event in February 2016. Dayton's office said he had undergone "elective back surgery" in December of 2015 and had been feeling pain in his back before losing consciousness.
The governor's office said it will release an update on Dayton's condition shortly.
