"Saturday Night Live" enlisted a shirtless Vladimir Putin to roast President Donald Trump just one day after he was sworn into office.
The cold open began with the message: "And now a paid message from From the Russian Federation."
"Hello, America. Yesterday we all made Donald Trump the 45th President of the United States," Beck Bennett's Putin said. "Hooray, we did it!"
Bennett's Putin went on to assure the American people that he would take care of the country because "it's the most expensive thing we've ever bought."
He then took aim at the number of people who attended Trump's inauguration.
"I'm glad to see so many people showed up to your inauguration," Bennett's Putin said as a clip from the Women's March on Washington played. "Oh wait, that's the Women's March," Bennett's Putin said, correcting the mistake.
Comedian Aziz Ansari, who hosted Saturday night's episode, also took shots at President Donald Trump. His monologue covered everything from the Women's March on Washington to Islamaphobia in America.
"Crazy couple of days," Ansari said. "Yesterday, Trump was inaugurated. Today, an entire gender protested against him."
He then said groups of people have used Trump's election to be more outwardly racist. Ansari called those people the "new, lower-case KKK movement."
As his monologue, came to an end, Ansari took a few moments to encourage those who took to the streets for various women's marches across the country.
“If you look at our country’s history, change doesn’t come from presidents," he said. "Change comes from large groups of angry people. And if Day 1 is any indication, you are part of the largest group of angry people I have ever seen.".
