Trump finished off inauguration eve by thanking everyone at campaign dinner

President-elect Trump thanked senators, Cabinet nominees and family members at a campaign donors dinner at Union Station in downtown D.C. on Thursday night.

He welcomed his campaign manager Kellyanne Conway to the stage, thanking her for making a presence on the major news networks when times were tough.

Trump also singled out Sonny Perdue, his recent Cabinet nomination to head the Agriculture Department.

"There's not a pick that I don't love," Trump said of his Cabinet. And if I did, I would have told you right now."

His remarks at the candlelight dinner were off-the-cuff. And people noticed.
