Four of President-elect Donald Trump's Cabinet nominations face confirmation hearings Wednesday, all starting at 10 a.m. Eastern time. They are:
- Nikki Haley, U.N. ambassador
- Scott Pruitt, EPA administrator
- Tom Price, Health and Human Services Secretary
- Wilbur Ross, Secretary of Commerce

Price has come under fire after reports that he wrote legislation as a Congressman that helped companies he had stock in. Trump has said his plan to replace Obamacare is dependent on Price's confirmation.

Pruitt is a close ally of the fossil fuel industry, and he doubts that humans have caused global warming, a first for an EPA head. Sen. Bernie Sanders said he would "vigorously oppose" his nomination.

Environmentalists have called Pruitt a "nightmare."

Haley, the governor of South Carolina, was an outspoken Trump critic before he was nominated as the Republican candidate. She is the second Asian-American governor in U.S. history.

Wilbur Ross is a billionaire investor known for turning around failing companies. One of those was Trump's Taj Mahal casino in the 1990s.
