A man who set a fire outside Trump International Hotel in Washington, D.C., Tuesday night was hospitalized with burns.
Some media outlets, including The Washington Post, said the 45-year-old, who was not identified, was trying to set himself on fire.
Our partner at WJLA reported that the small fire diverted some traffic. Protests near the hotel snarled rush-hour traffic hours beforehand.
One observer said the man put the fire out himself.
Other observers said he merely lit a duffle bag on fire.
Here's a look at the scene of the fire.
