Press Briefing by Press Secretary Josh Earnest

WATCH | White House press secretary Josh Earnest held his final press briefing Tuesday afternoon, and President Obama dropped in. You can watch the event live on YouTube.

Obama called Earnest "a really, really good man."

Earnest cracked a few jokes during the speech, detailing multiple disagreements with Sen. Chuck Schume and then saying, "And we spent many years complaining about how unreasonable Republicans are!"

After Obama's visit, Earnest commented on the ongoing tensions with Russia, saying "The incoming administration is going to have to decide which side of the line they're going to come down on."

So far, his last briefing went better than his first one.

Russian TV may have leaked a 'Sherlock' season finale. The BBC said it was no accident.

Earnest, 31, replaced Jay Carney as press secretary in 2014.
