The Presidential Inaugural Committee announced Monday who is participating in the inaugural parade. The parade is set to last about an hour and will take place around 3 p.m. The parade goes 1.5 miles from the Capitol past the Trump International Hotel to the White House.
The parade tradition started with Thomas Jefferson in 1801. It will mostly be made up of marching bands. Each branch of the military will be participating and each branch will also do a flyover during the parade.

The parade will follow Trump as he makes his way to his new house. There are more than 7,000 spots available for people without tickets to watch the parade. Here are the groups who will participate. This is the first division.
