Team Dignitas has their League of Legends players live together in a house in Signal Hill, CA, to streamline communication.

Alex "Xpecial" Chu said that one of many benefits of this is that is "pretty much forces you to be close with your teammates."

Since team strategy is crucial to success in matches, many organization leaders find that being together makes this process easier.

This, however, causes conflict as, sometimes, especially after hard losses or bad games, you are "stuck in a bubble with the people you don't want to be around right now."

Despite this, the many benefits outweigh the occasional negatives most of the time. Aside from  more efficient practice due to many houses having a large gaming room, other positives are received when living in an area like Team Dignitas.

One of the highlight features of the home, according to Chu, is the view overlooking the entire city of Long Beach, which he takes advantage of during times of needed relaxation.

As eSports continues to expand and revenue increases, team houses are becoming more prevalent in response to the growing level of competition.
