These parents got married at a hospital while their son was being treated for cancer

Watch|  Getting married in a chapel at children's hospital in Columbus, Ohio was not what Celia Kinzel had in mind, but it was a ceremony she will remember forever.

It was actually perfect. I am really glad we went that route
Celia Kinzel, Logan's mother

Plans for a big 2018 wedding were put aside during the holidays when Celia and her husband, Geff, learned their two-year-old son, Logan, had to be checked into the hospital for the second time within nine months to be treated for brain cancer, affiliate WSYX reported.

Within four weeks Logan's parents planned their wedding, which happened last Saturday inside the Children's Chapel at  Nationwide Children's Hospital. Logan was allowed to swap out his hospital gown for a bow tie and be front and center when his parents said their vows.

"He really is a superhero. He takes it so well. He is always smiling and happy, he stood crying for us to hold him, while we said our I do's," said Kinzel. "It was his day and I am okay with that."

One wedding photo, taken by Celia's mother, has gone viral on social media. "All the likes and shares we got, I hope it brings awareness to pediatric cancer. It's not rare. It's very common," Kinzel added.

Many of Logan's family and close friends, including his older brother Rowan, were able to see the little boy, who had been hospitalized shortly after Thanksgiving. Logan still has a long road ahead of him, he has seven months of aggressive chemotherapy as part of his recovery. His parents are still planning a big get together for next year; one to celebrate their marriage and Logan beating cancer for the second time.
