WATCH | This is Peeqo, the desktop assistant that can play music, take photos, search the web, and learn new abilities. What makes it special is how it speaks- Peeqo can only communicate through GIFs.
Created by New York University grad student Abhishek Singh, this DIY project aims to provide an open-source path to create your own voice-activated robot. Singh programmed Peeqo to react to the user's commands with a full library of quirky GIFs.
Using 3D printed materials, Singh wanted to make sure this was an affordable build that any aspiring DIYer could accomplish. He describes his invention as "the love child of Amazon Echo and a Disney character."
This is definitely one of the most impressive DIY bots utilizing artificial intelligence- make sure to check out Abhishek's website Peeqo.com for more information.
