UPDATE 3:45 p.m. EST:
French police have charged six more suspects involved in the armed robbery of Kim Kardashian West's armed in October 2016, WJLA reported. The Friday announcement came days after three other suspects have been formally charged in the case.
Among those is a man identified as Omar A., who is believed to be the mastermind behind the robbery. Reports have suggested that his DNA was found at the crime scene, on the tape and plastic tie used to restrain Kardashian West.
Kim Kardashian West is one step closer to getting closure.
Three suspects involved in the October heist of Kardashian West's jewelry have been formally charged, the spokesperson for the Paris prosecutor's office confirmed to NBC News.
The charges come the same week that 17 arrests were made in the case.
Sixty-three-year-old Yunice A. was charged on three counts--committing a robbery with a gun, abduction or sequestration, and association with criminals. Sixty-four-year old Marceau B. was charged on two counts, including concealment in an organized gang and association with criminals. The last, 45-year-old Florus H., faces counts of complicity in a robbery with a gun, abduction and sequestration, and associated with criminals.
These three men are the first to be charged in connection with the robbery in which Kardashian West reported being tied up and threatened with a gun. She told police that she was also robbed of millions of dollars worth of jewelry.
According to NBC News, a fourth person, 27-year-old Gary M., the brother of the limo driver the reality star used while in Paris, is being presented to the judge as well.
Sister breaks silence
Since the early October heist, Kardashian West has kept a relatively low profile. Her younger sister, Khloé, recently spoke out about her sister's incident on the "Today Show."
"I don't believe that because people show their life anywhere, that anyone deserves (what happened) or there's consequences in getting robbed," she said.
People online cracked some jokes.
