An Ohio movie theater was evacuated after an off-duty officer allegedly dropped her gun

An Ohio movie theater was evacuated Friday night after an off-duty police officer dropped her gun, according to our partner at WKRC.

Officers were told a woman later identified as Shauna Lambert, 50, was "acting erratic" and dropped a handgun, starting a panic at the Cinemark Movie Theater in Milford. No shots were fired and no one was hurt.

Lambert is a Cincinnati Police Department sergeant. Her department is reviewing the incident, and she may face disciplinary action.

Here's a video of Lambert being arrested. Officers said they could smell alcohol.

Here's another look at the arrest.

Some guy turned his cell phone light on, saw what it was, snatched it up. And then the commotion started.

She faces charges of having weapons while intoxicated and inducing panic.

WCPO reports Lambert has had run-ins with the law before. In April 2016, she was pulled over and refused blood-alcohol tests.
