Taylor Swift paid a surprise visit to a 96-year-old WWII veteran over the holidays

This year pop star Taylor Swift surprised one of her oldest fans: 96-year-old Cyrus Porter.

Porter's family screamed with excitement the moment Swift walked through the door of the World War II veteran's Missouri home on Monday.

Swift posed for plenty of pictures and even brought along her guitar, with which she performed the acoustic version of her song "Shake It Off," according to CNN

Porter's 20 grandchildren posted plenty of photos on social media.

Porter was recently profiled by his local TV station because of his Taylor Swift obsession. In fact, he likes the pop star's music so much that he's seen her in concert twice.

"Look what she does," Porter told the TV station. "She puts on a show no one else puts on."

Swift showed up at his doorstep just a few days after the story aired.

Swift even took the time to check out Porter's WWII memorabilia.
