It's starting to feel like 2002 all over again.
Avril Lavigne announced on Instagram Sunday that she would release a new album next year. She took a hiatus as she battled Lyme disease, which left her bedridden for months, according to People. Her last, self-titled album was released in 2013.
Also, yes, "Sk8r Boi" came out fourteen years ago. Time to feel old.
Here's the post with her announcement.

No word on whether or not this album will include Lavigne's ex-husband, Chad Kroeger of Nickelback fame (he's on the right).
