You can now have weed and the pizza for your subsequent munchies delivered the same way.
Portland, Ore. city commissioners unanimously approved "marijuana couriers" on Wednesday, The Oregonian reports, meaning marijuana can be delivered right to customers' doors.
There are a few restrictions: "Couriers" can only sell marijuana through delivery, not a storefront. They need a headquarters but they can ignore a rule preventing dispensaries from opening less than 1,000 feet apart.
Marijuana delivery services have existed in Oregon (and, really, nationwide) for a while. This ruling marks the first time that they're fully legal. The ruling took effect immediately.
