Trump ally Newt Gingrich said we 'need to get used to' Trump's tweets

Newt Gingrich, former Speaker of the House and current ally of President-elect Donald Trump, said in a Fox News Sunday interview the American people "need to get used to" Trump's tweets, even when they stir controversy over a nuclear arms race.

Gingrich, once considered a contender for a cabinet position, called Trump's use of the platform "brilliant."

Here's a clip from that interview.

Trump has raised the idea of a new arms race, which Gingrich embraced.

Gingrich insisted Russia was gaining on the U.S. arsenal.

He also said despite a lack of cabinet position, he has "overwhelming" access to Trump.

What do you think of Trump's use of Twitter?
