Trump's team has denounced controversial comments made by former Donald Trump campaign co-chair, Carl Paladino, about President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama.
Paladino said he hopes Barack Obama dies of mad cow disease and that Michelle Obama "returns to being a male" in Zimbabwe with "Maxie the gorilla," he told a weekly paper in Buffalo.
In response, Trump's team released this statement: "Carl's comments are absolutely reprehensible, and they serve no place in our public discourse."

Trump hasn't denounced the comments on Twitter, which has some people concerned.

Hoping PEOTUS @realdonaldtrump bans Carl Paladino from Inauguration. This is not a hard decision. Move quickly to condemn even if old friend— Hugh Hewitt (@hughhewitt) December 24, 2016
