A three-year-old boy went from being a foster child to his new forever home when he was adopted this week.
Tara Montgomery and her three girls officially adopted Michael on Dec. 20.
"My children's last name is Brown," Tara said. "His was already Brown when he got here, so it was again meant to be. Everyone always says he looks just like the girls."
This tweet about Brown has more than 140,000 likes and 50,000 retweets.
One of the girls, Dea, snapped a photo of Michael celebrating when he got the news that he was being adopted. She Tweeted the photo and it's been making the rounds on socail media.
"I just tweeted, I was like, we are his forever family, and it just blew up on Twitter," Dea said.
People on Twitter were thrilled for the little guy and his new family.
The family believes the attention the photo is receiving is good for awareness on the need for adoption.
Michael had spent 832 days in foster care.
