Trump says Putin's 'thoughts are so correct' in 'very nice' letter to president-elect


Less than 24 hours after Donald Trump tweeted that the United States "must greatly strengthen and expand its nuclear capability," the President-elect released to the public a letter he received from Putin.

In the letter, Putin writes that he hopes he and the President-elect "will be able -- by acting in a constructive and pragmatic manner -- to take real steps to restore the framework of bilateral cooperation in different areas." 

Donald Trump released this letter he received from Russian President Vladimir Putin.
