Todd Fisher, Carrie Fisher's brother, told the press that his sister is in stable condition at UCLA Medical Center after being rushed to the facility by Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics, reports The Los Angeles Times.
Carrie Fisher, better known to some as Princess Leia from "Star Wars," suffered a heart attack on Friday, while aboard an airplane flying from London to Los Angeles, reports Variety.
Fisher reportedly went into cardiac arrest about 15 minutes before the plane was going to klan. She was rushed to a hospital around noon.
Fisher's "Star Wars" co-star Mark Hamill wished her well on Twitter.
Passengers on Fisher's flight posted the news to social media.
