In a new Instagram post, Christina El Moussa, the co-host of HGTV's "Flip or Flop" said her children are what help her get her through the tough times, referring to last week's announcement that she and her husband Tarek are splitting.
Christina El Moussa captioned a short video from Monday night, "Even on my roughest days he always brings a smile to my face. #BraydenJames you make our lives complete."
Christina El Moussa tagged her estranged husband in the post.
ABC reports the former couple has two children, Brayden James, who was born late last year, and Taylor Reese, who is 6.
Christina El Moussa's post comes just days after the estranged couple told People magazine they've been separated since May but plan to continue working together.
“We decided to separate while we reevaluated the next steps in our married life,” the couple told People magazine. “We believed this was in the best interest of the children and the best way to determine a path forward.”
The couple thanked their fans on their official Facebook page just hours after Christina El Moussa posted the video of their son.
"We have worked together since our early 20s and we will continue to do so moving forward while we continue to make our children our priority," they wrote. "We look forward to spending the Christmas season with family and want to wish a Merry Christmas and happy holidays to each and every one of you. May you all find peace and joy this holiday season."
Since they announced their split, the El Moussas have added several photos of their children to their Instagram feeds.
The couple is said to still be filming for their HGTV series.
