"Star Wars" fans are SERIOUS about their franchise. Here's a photo if you needed proof.
"Star Wars" junkies lined up by the hundreds outside of their local theaters Thursday for the premiere of "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story."
"Rogue One" is the first stand-alone "Star Wars" story, set before the original "Episode IV: A New Hope" and introduces an entirely new cast of characters.
According to Deadline, the new movie is headed for an estimated $30 million preview night, but if that's true, it would be a 47% drop from the record $57-million haul for "The Force Awakens" last year.
Some moviegoers were treated to a pre-movie show from R2-D2 and his stormtrooper friends.
This person got a photo with Darth Vader.
And these fans were ready to duel it out -- lightsaber and all.
