Steve Harvey returns to host the Miss Universe pageant next year. You read that right.

This is not an early April Fool's joke, people.

And the winner is...

Emmy Award-winning comedian and television host Steve Harvey will return to host the Miss Universe beauty pageant, one year after he confused the names of the winner and runner-up contestants and had to fix the error in the most awkward moment imaginable.

Yet despite last year's name mix-up -- or perhaps because of it -- the comedian was asked to host the Miss Universe 2017 competition.

Model Ashley Graham will co-host.

WATCH  | It's been almost a year since Harvey accidentally crowned the wrong Miss Universe contestant at last year's competition. Here is the incredibly awkward moment, in case you forgot exactly how it went down.

But not everyone's forgotten...

Harvey quickly apologized during the live program and again on Twitter.

Guess it's safe to say the people at Miss Universe forgave him, leaving some #inspired.

The event will air Sunday, January 29, 2017 on Fox.
