WATCH | Will Smith said that while he was playing Deadshot in the blockbuster movie "Suicide Squad," he was outfitted with guns that could have fired real bullets if the prop weapons wound up in the wrong hands.
"Deadshot’s wrist magnums, they were... Glocks that actually would fire real bullets if somebody was dumb enough to put one in there," Smith said in an interview for the movie's DVD and Blu-ray editions, both of which will be released Tuesday.
To fire them, Smith used triggers similar to the buzzers contestants use on "Jeopardy!"
Smith said the firearm recoil "adds a whole other element of authenticity" to the movie.
WATCH | Despite mixed reviews from critics, "Suicide Squad" grossed more than $750 million in theaters worldwide.
