Instagram on Monday (Dec. 12) made its live video feature available to everyone in the US.
| Instagram goes live
Starting today, Instagram users can start a live video from the camera's in-app Stories section.
A "live" badge will notify users when one of their followers is broadcasting.
Here's the catch: Once a video has ended, it disappears from the app and isn't available for replay afterwards.
Unlike Facebook live, once the broadcast is done, it's gone for good.
Just did an Instagram live video and... it was so cool!

Some Instagram users are already trying out the new live feature.
However, not everyone is impressed about the update.
Dear @Instagram, listen to the people. Put our timelines back in order.

And this guy thinks Instagram should put its efforts toward other updates.
