Everyone, breathe a collective sigh of relief. At least 2016 didn't give us ANOTHER Deflategate.
On Sunday, the New York Giants reported to the NFL that the Pittsburgh Steelers had used under-inflated balls in last week's game, USA Today reports. But an NFL spokesman refuted the complaint, saying all proper procedures had been followed.
The Giants also did not submit a formal complaint, so we're all saved from another months-long legal battle over deflated footballs.

But some feared this wasn't the end.
