Ryan Reynolds is asking the internet to help him make a 'Deadpool'/'Wolverine' movie

Actor Ryan Reynolds this week said he would be down to do a "Deadpool"/"Wolverine" movie with Hugh Jackman, but he needs help from his friends on the internet to convince his "X-Men" costar to do another Wolverine movie.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Reynolds said, "I want Deapdool and Wolverine in a movie together.”

Jackman has said "Logan," set to release this Spring, will be his last Wolverine film.

But Reynolds is hoping, with a little convincing, he can convince Jackman to change his mind.

“What we’re gonna have to do is convince Hugh," Reynolds told Entertainment Weekly. "If anything, I’m going to need to do what I can to get my internet friends back on board to help rally another cause down the line.”

And it looks like the internet wants to make the movie happen too.

One Twitter user joked that there's an easy alternative is Jackman isn't feeling it.

Jackman hasn't responded to the internet's appeal yet. But Reynolds told Entertainment Weekly he thinks the two would "light the screen on fire."

“Hugh Jackman is one of the best human beings," Reynolds said. "Part of the reason I want to do a Deadpool/Wolverine movie is not just because I think the two would light the screen on fire but I genuinely love the guy.”
