University of Louisville quarterback Lamar Jackson won the 2016 Heisman Trophy in New York City on Saturday night.
Jackson beat out four other finalists for the award including Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson, Michigan linebacker Jabrill peppers and Oklahoma teammates Dede Westbrook and Baker Mayfield.
The Heisman Trophy is awarded to the best player in college football in the country.

Jackson's win was a foregone conclusion for many on social media.
