According to the Carrier union boss, President-elect Donald Trump might have some explaining to do.
According to United Steelworkers 199 President Chuck Jones, Trump "lied his ass off" about the terms of the deal the president brokered to keep the company from moving jobs to Mexico, reports The Hill.
Trump initially promised to save 1,350 jobs in Carrier's Indiana plant. Carrier agreed to keep only 730 of the jobs in Indiana after receiving a huge tax break from the state.
Jones had hoped that Trump would explain at a Dec. 1 meeting that 550 of the jobs at the Indiana plant had not been saved.
“But he got up there,” Jones said, “and, for whatever reason, lied his ass off,” said Jones.
“Trump and Pence, they pulled a dog and pony show on the numbers. I almost threw up in my mouth.”

1. 1253 factory jobs moving to Mexico
2. 730 jobs staying in Indianapolis
Many have followed Jones's lead and called Trump out on social media.
Chuck Jones, who is President of United Steelworkers 1999, has done a terrible job representing workers. No wonder companies flee country!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) December 8, 2016
Unsurprisingly, Trump hit back at Jones via his Twitter account.
