Gun-wielding Alabama Mannequin Challenge leads to 2 arrests; weapons and drugs seized

WATCH | Seemed like a good idea at the time... This mannequin challenge depicting a mock shootout backfired when the video was made public and police got a look.

The challenge video, uploaded in November, led to two arrests in Huntsville, Alabama on Tuesday, according to WHNT News. The video shows dozens of people pointing guns at each other in a mock shootout.

When police saw the video it sparked an investigation. Kenneth White, 49, was charged with marijuana possession and possessing a firearm while being a convicted felon, and Terry Brown, 23, was charged with possessing drug paraphernalia, loitering and promoting prison contraband. More arrests are expected, WHNT reports.

The Madison County Sheriff's Office was disappointed with the participants' actions.
