The NYPD wants to talk with Sacramento King’s forward Matt Barnes about an alleged altercation that happened Monday morning at an NYC nightclub, CBS New York reports.
According to the station, Barnes, 36, reportedly choked a woman inside a nightclub and then attacked another man and woman who attempted to intervene. He then allegedly left the club by the time the police arrived.
Meanwhile, Barnes has taken to social media to defend himself.
Fights are nothing new to Barnes. Last season, he was suspended by the NBA for two games after he threatened and got into a fight with former New York Knicks' head coach Derek Fisher.
