A California mother who went missing about a month ago was found alive, bound alongside an interstate, reports CBS News.
Sherri Papini disappeared on Nov. 2 while out running. Her headphone and cell phone were found near the place where she was last seen. Her husband reported her missing after she failed to pick her two kids up from daycare.
When found, Papini was released from her binds and taken to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
Investigators believe that Papini was abducted and that she was released by her captors early Thanksgiving Day.Authorities say they have yet to locate a suspect or suspects. They are, however, searching for a dark SUV and two Hispanic females armed with a handgun.
The news of Papini's release made some on social media very happy.
Social media accounts dedicated to information about Papini celebrated the news.
