Brad Pitt 'will not be charged' after FBI investigation into child abuse allegations

The FBI closed its inquiry into child abuse allegations against Brad Pitt. He won't be charged.

'No charges filed'

The Los Angeles bureau of the FBI confirmed Tuesday that the investigation had been closed. The complaints were first made after an incident involving one of Pitt's children on a private plane last September.

"The FBI has conducted a review of the circumstances and will not pursue further investigation," FBI spokeswoman Laura Eimiller told CNN.

Earlier this month, the Los Angeles County Department of Child Services cleared Pitt.

Jolie, who filed for divorce, is seeking full custody of the couple's six children.
