Remember your huge Pokémon card collection in middle school?

You're about to regret throwing it away.

The most valuable Pokémon card in the world was sold at auction for $54,970 on Thursday, Polygon reports.

Fortunately, you almost certainly didn't own a copy. There are only 10 copies of "Pikachu Illustrator" still known to exist, of the 39 that were made as prizes for two contests.

Here's what the super-rare card looks like.

The card was in mint condition. It originally sold for about $23,000 in the early 2000s.

Heritage Auctions said the price surged due to the popularity of Pokémon GO

The seller and the buyer weren't identified.
