A manhunt continued for the man who shot and killed a San Antonio police officer on Sunday. Nationwide, three other officers were shot Sunday night and one suspected shooter was killed.
The officer killed was identified as Detective Ben Marconi, 50. He had served with the department for 20 years. Police have released a photo of the suspect but have not made an arrest as of 8:20 a.m. Eastern time.

On Sunday night, an officer was shot during a traffic stop in Sanibel City, Fla. It was the first time an officer in the department had been shot on duty.
The unidentified officer was taken to a hospital and then released, and a suspect was arrested that night, according to The News-Press.
Sanibel City's website reported police had also shot at the suspect, later identified as Jon Hay, 49.

A police sergeant was in critical but stable condition Sunday night after being shot twice in the face in St. Louis, KSDK reports. The shooter, who has not been publicly identified, was killed in a shootout Monday morning after shooting at officers again, city police said.
The officer who was shot was also a 20-year veteran, St. Louis Police Chief Sam Dotson said. Dotson said the officer was "driving down the road and was ambushed."

St. Louis police tweeted about the incident early Monday morning.
In a separate incident, an officer was shot during a traffic stop in Gladstone, a Kansas City suburb. That officer is expected to recover, but there is no information about the shooter available, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
Police have said there are no known connections between the four shootings.
